This recruitment drive is aimed at strengthening the teaching and non-teaching workforce of Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) across the country, which provide quality education to students from tribal communities.

The recruitment is being conducted through the Eklavya Model Residential Schools Staff Selection Examination (ESSE-2025). Appointments will be made on a direct basis. Selected candidates will not only benefit from competitive pay scales but also enjoy rent-free accommodation within the school campus, along with a special allowance of 10% of basic pay.

EMRS Application Form 2025 Link

The online application form is available from 19 September 2025 till 23 October 2025 at 23:50 hrs. Candidates must apply online as no other mode is accepted. Candidates must access, fill out, and submit their application within deadlines to avoid missing out on the opportunity. They must check the eligibility criteria before submission. Steps to Apply for EMRS Recruitment 2025 Visit the official EMRS portal. Register with your basic details to generate a unique Login ID and Password. Fill Part A of the application with general information. Fill Part B separately for each post you want to apply for. Upload scanned copies of the required documents and pay the application fee online. Submit the application form and take a printout for reference.

Note: Candidates can apply for multiple posts if eligible, but only one PGT and one TGT application is allowed per candidate.

EMRS Eligibility Criteria 2025 EMRS Eligibility Criteria for Teaching Posts Post EMRS Teacher Bharti Eligibility Criteria Principal Master’s degree from a recognized university/institute, and B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University, and Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium, and Persons working in any of the Government. / Semi-Govt./Govt. recognized / CBSE-affiliated Sr. Secondary (10+2) schools / Inter College. Holding an analogous post, or Ten years of experience in teaching (Vice Principal / PGT / TGT) in a recognized high school/ Higher secondary school / Senior Secondary School/Intermediate college Vice Principal Master’s Degree from a recognized university/institution, and B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University, and Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium, and 2 years of experience working in the post of PGT or lecturer at level 8 (Rs.. 47600-151100) in Central/ State Govt./Autonomous organization of central / State Govt.

Desirable:

Three years? experience in a fully residential school. PGT Two Years Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Master?s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subject: PGT (English)- English literature PGT (Hindi) ? Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at the Graduate level. PGT (Mathematics)-Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics d. PGT (Physics)?Physics / Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics. PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. Chemistry. PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/Bio-Technology/ Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at the Graduation level. PGT (History) ? History PGT Geography-Geography PGT (Commerce) ? Master?s Degree in Commerce. However, holders of Degrees of M. Com in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible. PGT (Economics) ? Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics. PGT Information Technology- B. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University (Not applicable on PGT IT), and Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. TGT Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Bachelor?s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate. For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all three years. For TGT (English): English as a subject in all three years. For TGT (S.St): Any two of the following main subject at graduation level: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography. For TGT (Maths) ?Mathematics as the main subject at graduation level with one of the following as a second subject: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, economics, commerce and Statistics. For TGT (Science)- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology and Chemistry

AND

B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University. Pass in the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose, and Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
